I Know This Much Is True coming to HBO May 2020

It was a great experience working with writer/director Derek Cianfrance and Mark Ruffalo on their latest passion project, the miniseries I Know This Much is True, which Derek had been developing with Mark for ten years. Derek shared with me he can't work on just any project. It really has to speak to him, it has to be very personal, and then he can't not do it. Based on the best-selling novel of the same name, you could call it a 20th century American family saga. Over a series of six episodes, Mark plays identical twins, one struggling to care for the other, while in the process learning hard truths about his family history. Originally scheduled for April, it has been pushed back to a early May 2020 release.
