LA FOLIA: WINNER

Very happy to be part of LA FOLIA , winner of Best Experimental Short at the Manhattan Film Festival 2017. A ensemble project, I played a father struggling to raise a son as his mother is dying. Filmmaker Adam Grannick of Filmelodic specializes in creating stories drawn from classical music which are screened with live musicians. La Folia is one of the oldest remembered European musical themes. In this film, the theme is interpreted numerous ways, each helping to tell a different story.
